Accessibility Statement

Downtown Photo wants everyone to be able to use our websites, www.downtownphoto.us and www.downtownphotolive.com, including people with disabilities.

Our commitment

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we are doing

In October 2026 we had both sites reviewed for accessibility. We are now working through the results. That work includes adding descriptive text to our photos, improving color contrast and keyboard navigation, captioning videos, and simplifying page layouts. This is ongoing work, and some parts of our sites may not yet be fully accessible.

Third-party platforms

Our sites are built on SmugMug and Squarespace. Some features, such as photo viewers, forms and checkout, are controlled by those platforms, and we cannot change them directly. We have reported issues to these providers and will apply fixes as they become available.
